the history of ancient china

Ancient China was one of the earliest centers of human civilization. Chinese civilization was also one of the few to invent writing independently.  Ancient China includes the Neolithic period (10,000 -2,000 ), the Shang dynasty (c. 1500-1050 Shang) and the Zhou dynasty (1050-221 Zhou). The Xia Dynasty (2070 BC - 1600 BC) is the first dynasty in China to be described in ancient historical chronicles. (BC=Before Christ)

 Ruling Policy& Rulers

Most of the history of Chinese civilization, including the ancient period, has been traditionally been divided into dynasties. A dynasty is a line of kings or emperors from a single family, following each other on the throne from generation to generation. In Chinese history (in contrast to European history) the succession was, in the overwhelming majority of cases, from father to son. This was because, due to the dictates of ancestor worship, it was a ruler's overriding responsibility to produce a male heir. Not to have done so would have been unthinkable. The records of the Grand Historian and the Classic of Rites say that Yu the Great, the founder of the Xia dynasty, was the grandson of Zhuanxu, one of the legendary "Five Emperors" who were the first Depicition of Qin Shi Huang, the first emperor of China rulers of China.

Qing Shi Huang is a very important people in china history, and he also was one of the most brillant politics through chinese history, who name was Ying Zheng. he become to the king of Qing. in 221BC he finally nuited China after beating other 6 countries ( Qin Yan Chu Zhao Wei Han). at the ageof 39 he become the emperor of the Qing empire. during his time, the great wall was built, which is a great achievement in the world. he died in 207BC.
